2007: IBM PhD Assistantship, Top ranked 1st in CEMA out from 17 awarded students. Project Title: Optimization of Decentralized Scheduling Strategies in Grid Environments. 2006-2008: Oracle Award. PhD Performance Scholarship for three years, offered by Oracle Academy in an international competition.
2005-2006: Research Fellowship from California Institute of Technology, awarded for major contributions to international scientific research projects, as member of MonALISA project.
2005: First Prize within the Session of Students’ Communication, University Politehnica of Bucharest, section Systems and Internet Applications.
